For quite sometime now I have been making a game.  I know there is not currently a way I can do this, but I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction as to how to create it.

I know you can use

animate({backgroundPosition}, timeLength);

but it would really be nice if there was a backgroundImage.  Does anyone know how I could go about doing that? It would be
