I'm rebuilding a flash site in html and ran into a problem that I can't figure out. Please check out this link:

When you click an item in the portfolio, it pulls the horizontal and vertical scroll to the proper position, but animating the scrolltop is giving me glitches. It looks like the page jumps to the top, then returns and animates.

Here's what I'm doing:

1. $('html,body').animate({
2. scrollTop: lastChildOffset.top - 140
3. }, 500);

Pretty basic. I tried using the scrollTo plugin, and cut out the other animations for the horizontal scrolling and scroll knob positioning, and no cigar.

any ideas?
