I am trying to use a JQuery UI dialog box on my website  http://www.jameswinfield.co.uk/Emma.html which would appear when clicking the Events button.

It does actually now bring up the dialog bit - but I want to shade out the rest of the screen and just show the dialog in front - how can I do that?

Apologies for the dumb question - this is the first time I am testing out JQuery and keep getting stuck,
