Button Custom Icon not working in PhoneGap?

Hi all,

I am trying to use custom button icon, the attached example works when running in browser, but doesn't when runs in emulator/real phone (where the '+' icon is shown instead of the custom search icon), I am using Google development tools for Android for development. Any idea what I have done wrong?
