1. i want to to be paused and

 2. i want it to slide to the next slide only when i click on the <li> associated with the slide , or when i click on the next or prev button on the carasoul . 

i acheived the 1st objective by tweaking the code a little bit . i.e.

3.    
4.         $('#homeCarousel').carousel('pause');
5. });

But now how do i add the complex part , By which i mean , 

when i click on the <li> button(there are three of them at the bottom of the carasoul) or the next or previous button  , the slide associated with that perticular <li> sould appear .
