Change default font, remove text shadow and box shadow throughout

Change default font, remove text shadow and box shadow throughout

Is there any straight forward way of changing the default font, removing all text shadows and removing the box shadow throughout all elements on JQM rather than having to go through each one and change it.

I noticed on a few other threads that it was said you can add

* {
text-shadow:none
}

But I've tried that and it doesn't do anything?!
