colResizable() issue in IE (bug?)

I have 2 panels with the top displaying a table with the overflow hidden and the bottom panel allows the user to be able to update the information for the row the user clicks.

For some reason, the column lines are faint but resizeable in the bottom edit panel but ONLY in IE and from what I can tell only in IE 7. Does anyone know how to fix this/stop this from happening??
