Combining Jcarousel and lightbox

Hi all i am wanting to know is trhere anyway to combine a carousel and some sort of lightbox so that all your images and in the carousel and once clicked on the image it activates the ligthbox effect?
I have tried combining it myself but the lightbox effect doesnt seem to work all it does it opens the image sin a new window.
If anyone knows of a scripts that work well together or if you think you can fix it let me know.
