I have created a page in jquery mobile and written the accompanying javascript.

My problem is when I try to get them to work together they don't.  Where am I supposed to put the javascript in the html file?  I have tried using Dreamweaver and Notepad++.  I put in the appropriate calls in the header but when I go to preview the page it doesn't work.  There is no styling and the quiz doesn't work.  Any help would be appreciated.
