ive been looking for timelines to use — but found none that works with my idea (which is simple). 

The bxslider already have the functionality i need, such as autoplay and fading transition. I do have 2 questions. When adding bxsilder you get a 'slider control' like a pager which indicates which image is shown ( bx-pager-item). If i have 3 images id have 3 pager items. This is where the timline comes in. In the regular appearence the pager items are put next to each other. But id like to define there horizontal positioning based on their class.

The idea is that the timeline will start at 20110101 (2011-01-11) and end 20150101. E.g the pager item with the class 20110101 would be positioned 0% left and 20150101 100% right and everything else would be positioned in between.

Any idea of how i can calculate the position of bx-pager-item would be most appreciated.

In the end ill end up around 70 images.
