I have been asked just by a mate to help him get his site online. His uni mate did him a quick design and he has asked me to code it. There are 2 plugins or code that I want to implement but not sure what. Here is the image below. 

As you can see that it is a basic design. The two interactive options I would like are...

The navigation - I have seen sites with similar navigation where the underline slides along for the hover states of each link. So as I hover over to services the underline will slide along underneath.

The slider - The main image as you can see has a few navigations buttons. On this image is shows the what it looks like on the commercial slide. I want this slider to go through the options automatically, however if the user picks an item it goes back to that slide and you can click through to that service. 

I found a few sliders with the functionality, but I am not sure how easy it would be to edit them to look like the effect I want. The examples are:

My question is.. Can someone advise me on what to do? Shall I use one of these and edit it or shall is there a better option? Is there a plugin for the navigation I want etc? 

Any help would be appreciated. As I say, complete novice with jQuery/Javascript.
