Cropping images

Hi,

I've been researching about face detection and I've found a few ajax solutions for it, but now the issue is for cropping the head. It's much preferred to crop in an oval and then maybe add some dotted lines so that the user can adjust the oval to fit the entire head with the hair.

Is this possible with jquery or any ajax library? or is it only flash that can do this?
