Crossfading effect in image slider (instead of standard fadeOut and fadeIn)

Hi everybody!

I can't figure out how to change the effect of fading images, from standard (fadeOut then fadeIn) to crossfading (changing images at the same time). In present slider one image is fading out and only after that second image is fading in, without crossfading.

I've tried to use position absolute to images but without any success, slider goes crazy..

Any help or clue...?
