.css() and svg > Google Chrome

Hello,

I have a big problem with the .css function and a svg in Chrome.
I'm trying to resize a background-picture, everything works fine with Firefox but in Chrome it doesn't work. It works only if I use a png and not a svg.

Every time when you refresh it generates a new random amount of text to give every time a new size.

Can anyone help me please?
