custom downloader error

When attempting to download the themes (css) I get this error (an
alert):
/Users/myusername/Desktop/9bary01l.css could not be saved, because the
source file could not be read.
Try again later, or contact the server administrator.

Trying to download js files and nothing happens.
FF 2.0.0.6, Mac 10.4.10
