Date Picker, November Bug

There already is an active ticket for this bug (http://ui.jquery.com/
bugs/ticket/3105), but I'm kind of in need of a quick fix as the site
I'm using it on goes live in 10 days.
Basically the bug is that the first Sunday in November is generated
twice. This also breaks the date picker's ability to recognize the
current selected date. Any quick fixes?
