DatePicker frustration

Hi,

I find the way the DatePicker tries to navigate to a year before the full year has been entered really annoying. For example, if I start typing in 04/05/1995, the DatePicker will switch years to 2019 after I type in 04/05/19 ... very frustrating when I require the user to enter a full 4 digit year. I can't seem to find any way to prevent this. Is there something I'm missing?
