Quick demo -  http://jsfiddle.net/ZgcVK/ - the onSelect function works great but doesn't seem to be fired by setDate. Ideally, when the page loads, populate the "results" DIV as if the user selected a date from datepicker popup.

Wondering if this is still a "bug" - http://bugs.jqueryui.com/ticket/6264 - has this been fixed in 1.9.1 or has the temporary fix been rolled back due to side effects?

I am using jQuery 1.9.1 with jQueryUI 1.10.1
