Design input needed on the wiki

Design input needed on the wiki

Hi all -
Now that we're starting to really work on 1.next plugins, we're going
to try and identify a very small set of 1-2 plugins that we can all
focus on designing and specifying on the wiki at the same time. This
will let us all have a very focused conversation and (hopefully) a lot
of people will weigh in to make these well though out as possible
before we even start writing code.
In case you don't get the email updates from the wiki, here are the
two primary plugins we'd like your input on in the next few days:
The watermark plugin is on our priority list and we're pretty darn
close to having the specs nailed down. We're going to use the HTML 5
"placeholder" attribute to hold the watermark label from a PE
perspective. Jörn has updated this page with the new markup and specs
so we just want everyone to weight in on whether this seems like a
solid approach. If this looks good, Jörn will start re-vamping the
watermark code. (Jörn -- if you need style help, let us know)

The tooltip plugin is another priority item that we've been hashing
out. I just updated the description and visual mockups to the latest
thinking. I'd like to make sure we have the high level requirements
pretty well settled soon so someone can start outlining the actual
specs and we can start working on static html markup for all these:

Since tooltip is going to use the new positionTo and stackFix
utilities, please also help us flesh out the design for these too:

** Please post any specific feedback onto the wiki pages, not here.
And feel free to actually edit the pages if you see something missing,
want to start fleshing out a section or see typos. Use the wiki page
comments for questions. **
