dialog - checkbox in buttonpane

i'm wondering if there is a way to get a checkbox into the pane at the
bottom of the dialog window that includes the buttons. I have a couple
buttons being created using the 'buttons' option. I'd like to use
something similar to place a checkbox and some text in there as well.
any suggestions on how to accomplish this?
