dom cache for dialog to display transparent background

dom cache for dialog to display transparent background

will i be able to change the dom cache dynamically for some cases, for example during the dialog pop up to show the transparent background.  if i open the dialog the page does not remain in dom. I wanted to know if i can keep the page in cache when a dialog is open and when i navigate to another page, will i be able to make the dom cache as false.
