dragable&sortable: resulting items list -> input field
Hi,
i'd like to create a drag & sortable list of items.. (alike the way one can edit the symbols-bar on a OSX App).
The shopping cart demo (http://ui-dev.jquery.com/demos/droppable/#shopping-cart) comes pretty close, however i'd need the result of the drag/sort as comma separated list (item2,item1,item5,..) in a hidden input field.. and have no clue how to get there. ;-)
anyone a advice or good example?
details on task: i'd like to create a drag/sort GUI to populate the menu of a markitup editor window (comparable to this forums editor window) with buttons.. the choice and order of the buttons (bold, italic,...) needs to be written to the hidden input field in order to save it by form submit.
