I have overlapping and linked draggable elements on my page and I am trying to bring an element to the front on the first click. Only on the second click I want the link to be followed.

If an element already is the frontmost, the link should be followed on the first click, though.

When dragged around, the elements already come to the front without following the link. But I try to achieve the same for clicks. 

Any ideas?
