Just starting out, noob, etc, etc...

I really want to emulate the panel menu show hide as seen on  http://demos.jquerymobile.com/1.4.0/ where the panel menu displays on the left when the page is wide enough, then turns into an overlay panel when the page width decreases.

Is anyone able to show, or point to, a basic template for this setup?
