edit and retrieve text within a dialog

edit and retrieve text within a dialog


Newbie question - I need to get some user input. I'd like to open a
modal dialog box, prompt the user to enter a number, and retrieve the
number for use in my application. I don't see that the jQuery dialog
provides this functionality. Am I missing it, or is there a different
UI tool that I should be using?
