Error with Interface Slider in IE

I've been trying to implement this example with one of my site, but I
was using jQuery 1.2 with interface.js. It works fine in FF but shows
error in IE.
If I switch back to jQuery 1.1 it works fine... maybe something needs
to be updated in interface.js
Is there a solution available ?
