Fade In Fade Out for Multiple Image controls

Hello,

I had 4 Columns (div), each having 2 images.

I want animation for  Each column will fade in and out randomly! But, Not at the same time.

For e.g:

First Column Fade another Img;

else Column remains as it is;
then 2 secs time interval;

Second Column Fade another Img;

else column remains as it is;
then 2 sec time interval;

Thrid..

Fourth..
