FadeIn Accordion Issue

I'm having an issue with the accordion widget. Basically the ul is in a hidden div and on click of a "menu" item it should display and be usable. I've got the code to fade it in and display but the widget doesn't function correctly. I have a sample zip file that I can post if someone would be kind enough to look at it. Thanks in advance.
