Fading Text

Hi, this is probably a really noobish question, but I'm only just beginning to learn Javascript and looking at Jquery I've decided to start with that.

What i'd love to be able to do i have the text contained within a pre-determined div to fade in on the page load.

If anyone know how to do this or has a tutorial I can follow please let me know.
