focus/blur as namespaced events don't seem to work (tabbing through tabs)

Hi all,
wanted to test focus/blur state for tabs right now and noticed that
these two events don't seem to work if I bind them as namespaced
event, e.g. "focus.tabs" etc.
Before filing a ticket, I was wondering if anyone noticed that
behavior as well?
