Form Validation problem

HI,
I am using JQuery form validation. It works fine for me. The problem is

When i click my save button, validation error message comes (Thats fine).
Then if i clicked on the form the validation fires automatically. I want the vaidation to be happen only when i click my save button.
How can i do that ..please help me..
