fx.fade.js is now gone?

fx.fade.js is now gone?


I was using fx.fade.js in a website and wanted to upgrade my version of
jquery UI to something that was not in a beta and i did not now fx.fade.js
is broken and from what it looks like it is not even is the ui anymore. Is
there a easy way to create a fade without have to do that whole css stuff
myself and why was this taken out.
