Getting dialog position, seeing if dialog is open, or closed , and saving all to a cookie then retrieving info back.

Getting dialog position, seeing if dialog is open, or closed , and saving all to a cookie then retrieving info back.

As i am really new to jquery, only been messing with it for less than a week.
Heres my problem, i just need a push to help understand this a lot more.
I need to be able to retrieve the coordinates from a dialog,  And then save it to a cookie. and then how do i retrieve it?

Also if the dialog is open or closed.
I would be really thankful if you can post some code.
