i have a jcarousel (circular, with hyperlinks, which i have populated with a php recordset)

the problem is, the way the data is constructed, there is a trailing comma after the last itemlist item, which (i believe) causes a problem with IE8.
The page seems to work ok under ff3

is there a way i can get rid of it, or construct the itemlist differently

UPDATE
i have managed a 'quick and dirty' solution, by changing the recordset field to simulate the solution, but this will not work if the row order is changed,
However it has confirmed that the page without the trailing comma works fine with IE8
