Handling paste event on mouse click...??

Handling paste event on mouse click...??

Hi,
           I need to call a function when user copy and paste the text value in the text box. I tried using "mousedown"  event. But "mousedown" event handles left and right clicks when user clicks on the paste link on right click unable to handle the event. I am using jquery 1.5 . Please help me solving this issue.
