Have anyone seen a jquery catagory shuffler?

Have anyone seen a jquery catagory shuffler?

That might not be the right name for it. But I was wondering if somebody have made Jquery function that could take a series of post, images or a collection of DIV's and shuffle them in different catagory orders..

like a "Chronological" button that shuffles the items into chronological order

and a "Size" button that would shuffle them into a big to small order

and a "color" button that would... well you get the idea?

Is that a far fetched idea?
