Help with idTabs or any tabs plugin for jquery.

I'm using idTabs and trying to show 3 tabs:
Home - links to index.php
Downloads - has some sub-items (shows a ul)
Help - has some sub-items (shows a ul)
So as you can see there is a tab that should link to index.php.
So it does, but the selected class goes to one of the tabs which their href starts with "#".
Even if I make the "Home" tab selected, It will still make one of the other tabs selected too (it doesn't considers the "Home" tab as a tab...).
Is there any plugin that supports what i've said?
