Help with Tabs plz:(

Hi!
I'm asking for your help cuz im a bit stuck with tabs here.
In asp.net, each time the page is being loaded again[which happens
quiet a lot, i dont use ajax for the time being] the focus on the
selected tab is automatically being moved to the first tab.
is there any action i could use to keep the focus on the tab i'm
working with?
would consider any option, even AJAX.
