Hide and slide out menu

Hide and slide out menu

Hi all,

I am having trouble finding a plugin that is suitable for this...

I want to make a horizontal menu which will be hidden by default, but will slide out when hovering over a button (this is going to appear on the bottom-left hand side of the page). There will be no submenu (as of yet), so all the jquery plugins tend to deal with this and none I can see work truely horiztonally.

Does anyone know a good one to use and tweak? Any suggestions very appreciated.
