How can I resolve IE6 issues with jquery.

Hi All,

I have developed customized script for filtering and sorting of result with in the table using jquery. Everything is working fine in all browsers but when I check with IE6 and 7 then it becomes very slow it is fine with IE8. I am using jquery inbuilt functions like html, append, ajax get.

Can any body provides me the checklist for the jquery for IE6 development and what points should be there before writing the jquery script.
