How do I list years back to a certain date?

How do I list years back to a certain date?

Ok I'm guessing this might not be something covered by JQuery, but I just love doing everything with dollar signs in front if I can :)

I want to basically create an array of years from the current year back to a specified year.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance :)
