How Does "This topic is reported as Inappropriate (1)" work?

How Does "This topic is reported as Inappropriate (1)" work?

I've just signed up Today, I have a very pressing issue I'd like to find the resolution to with the help of no doubt much more experienced jQuerier's than me, being a newbie to it all... yet it's been marked as "inappropriate" and yet there is NO explanation as to why, no email from a moderator to give an explanation... I wouldn't mind but there's NO spam or anything in it for crying out loud!!

jQuery is seen as such a big thing, it's a truly wonderful tool it seems but the structure of newbies posting leaves so much to be desired!

Moderator's, care to explain... how can one understand why a post has been marked "inappropriate" if there is NO EXPLANATION procedure?!!!
