How to get document & body of a newly created iframe

Hi, I'm stuck on this and can't find a solution on the web which works in all browsers equally.

There must be a standard way of getting the body of an iframe, and adding content to it, using jQuery. Can someone advise please what the "best practice" way is? That works in all browsers?
