I am completely new to jQuery so please bare with me.  I am testing out the slider widget on the following page:

If I view this page on my smart phone (IPhone 4) I try to drag the slider but it treats it as an image and doesn't slide.  Is this the intention?  I thought the mobile library should make these controls behave exactly as they do with a mouse on a desktop?

 

Can someone please provide some additional information is my misunderstanding is wrong.
