How/where do I edit $.support.cors and $.mobile.allowCrossDomainPages??

How/where do I edit $.support.cors and $.mobile.allowCrossDomainPages??

From what I understand, I can have html files (with ajax) access my remote server so people can access my database if I build an html 5 app using dreamweaver and phonegap.  However, it sounds like I need to edit those two files according to  http://jquerymobile.com/demos/1.0/docs/pages/phonegap.html.

Can someone please validate if its true that I can build a mobile app with CS6 and phonegap that will be able to access my remote server and if that's true, how do I edit the two files that JQM tells me to on  http://jquerymobile.com/demos/1.0/docs/pages/phonegap.html?
