I'm new to jQuery and . . .
Hello everyone,
I'm new to jQuery and I've just started reading
Learning jQuery by Jonathan Chaffer and Karl Swedberg. Needless to say, I feel like it's my first day in first grade!
I've built (a few) sites as part of my freelance graphic design business and recently started learning CSS using David McFarland's
CSS: The Missing Manual. I won the books
Learning jQuery and
CSS Mastery by Andy Budd in
Chris Coyler's CSS Off Contest.
Using what I've learned so far, I'm rebuilding our online magazine,
The New Southern View Ezine, so as to use one external style sheet rather than a mixed bag of internal style sheets. (I even hesitate to honor them with that title! They are real messes.) I've marked the pages that I've put on my CSS-diet on my
Table of Contents page in case anyone is curious.
Anyway, I'd welcome any input as to websites and/or books that you, as a group, can recommend as the clearest guide for my continuing education.
Thank you,
Bill Pitts
