I need help with auto expanding Text Box
Hello Everyone.
I'm a complete newb at JSing/CSS and HTML. I can get by but poorly at best. So I apologize right off the bat.
Stuff I'm using-
Mac
Safari
Firefox
Dreamweaver
GoLive
I'm trying to create some "emailable stationary" for a client of mine. It's a very simple design.
I read that I can create a webpage and then open that page with Safari, under the menu item File>Mail Page As Safari will then mail the webpage as if it's stationary. Pretty slick and it works from what I can tell fairly well.
The problem I'm running into is the textArea below the company logo.
I can get the Textbox in place at a certain size. However that's the only size it will be. If I insert text so it overflows I get scroll bars on the sides.
I want to avoid that and just get a long vertical text box. I'm hoping I can use jQuery for this?
I've created an html page in Adobe GoLive (Still trying to convert to Dreamweaver) I have a text area created. I've imported the jQuery script into the same directory as my HTML file. I've link my JavaScript to my JQuery script but that's as far as I've got. Now I'm stuck and the auto expanding box isn't auto expanding.
Again. I'm so new at this that I'm not even sure what questions to ask or where to look for help. ANY help is greatly appreciated.
You can see the page I'm trying to create here.
