IE8 + jQuery Ticket #5038
Hello,
I recently created a script with for some drop-down menus. It works great on all browsers, except IE, of course. I debugged the script in IE, and it pointed to line 1061 in the full code:

elem[ name ] = value;
Saying that it is an invalid argument. The ticket 5038 at
http://dev.jquery.com/ticket/5038 gives a fix, changing the preceding line, but unfortunately, that does not work at all. Does anyone have any clue what's going on?? You can take a look at the full html and script at
