Image markups

Hi,

I'm trying to create an online form that has Ajax type functionality to markup content (basic text) on a static image (e.g. similiar to facebook photos but not with the hover effect).

Are there any examples of this functionality using jQuery? If anyone can steer me in the right direction that would be very much apprecitated.
