Image slideshow that doesn't load all images first?

Image slideshow that doesn't load all images first?

I'm looking for a good image slideshow type of plugin that isn't set up in such a way that all the images get loaded right away on the page.  I've looked at plugins such as Step Carousel and !SideSwap, and a bunch of others, but all seem to require the img tags to be set up on the page being viewed, instead of swapping out the src value.  Any ideas??
